A man is suspected to have died of Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) in Pune, which is seeing more than 100 confirmed cases. Of the confirmed cases, 68 are males and 33 are females.
According to reports, the patient who passed away was admitted to the hospital on January 18, with symptoms of cold, cough, and troubled breathing. He was placed under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) but later moved to a regular ward after showing signs of improvement. However, his condition worsened as he experienced severe breathing difficulties and paralysis in his limbs.
