Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail is the new Inspector-General of Police.
He takes over from Tan Sri Razarudin Husain who retires today after devoting 42 years to the Royal Malaysia Police.
Khalid who helmed Bukit Aman Special Branch is the 15th Inspector-General of Police.
The handing over of duties ceremony, which was held at the Police Training Centre today was witnessed by Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
