Budget 2023: मोदी सरकार ने अपने टेन्योर में बजट की कई परम्पराओं को खत्म कर दिया, जैसे- आजादी के पहले से बजट को चमड़े के ब्रीफकेस में पेश करने की परम्परा चलती आ रही थी लेकिन निर्मला सीतारमण ने इस परम्परा को तोड़ा और बजट को लाल कपड़े में लपेटकर लाने की परम्परा शुरू की. आजादी के बाद से हर साल बजट फरवरी की आखिरी तारीख को पेश किया जाता था मगर प्रशासनिक चुनौतियों के चलते मोदी सरकार ने बजट हर साल फरवरी की पहली तारीख को पेश करना शुरू कर दिया.

Since independence, every year the budget was presented on the last date of February, but due to administrative challenges, the Modi government started presenting the budget every year on the first day of February.
