A 64-year-old woman has been charged with Hate Crime after attacking a man wearing a ‘Palestine’ sweatshirt at a Panera Bread in Illinois.
Police responded to a call of a disturbance at the Panera Bread in Downers Grove on Saturday just before midday.
Alexandra Szustakiewicz allegedly confronted and yelled expletives at a man wearing a sweatshirt with the word ‘Palestine’ written on it, before attempting to hit a cell phone out of the hands of his wife videotaping the incident.
The woman was granted release and is banned from entering the Panera Bread where the incident took place.
