The Resistance Front has claimed responsibility for the terror attack in Pahalgam. This group is an off-shoot of the Pakistani terror group, Lashkar-E-Taiba. The Resistance Front was started in 2019 after the abrogation of article 370. Jammu and Kashmir police officials have released sketches and images of the terrorists. They have also released three names of the terrorists. These are Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha. The TRF’s leader is Saifullah Khalid alias Saifullah Kaisar who is a former Lashkar operative and is a close aide of Hafiz Saeed, who masterminded the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.
