Australians may have been feeling a little tart lately as they search supermarket shelves for Greek yoghurt, which in many shops is totally sold out, especially light and high-protein varieties.
Many have been quick to blame the Japanese cheesecake trend, where biscuits are mixed with yoghurt to make a dessert.
But Dietitians Australia president Dr Fiona Willer says another trend is stirring the pot: a growing focus on high-protein diets.
