The US just sent a C-17 Globemaster III military transport jet to India, carrying 104 undocumented migrants. The military deportation flight landed in Amritsar, in the Indian state of Punjab. It brought back Indian citizens who were trying to enter the US illegally, or who overstayed their visas. The migrants are from Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. India has agreed to take back 18,000 illegal immigrants from the country. This flight was likely the first of many. But will US President Donald Trump keep using military deportation flights once the novelty wears off?
