This robot ‘smiles’ using lab-grown living skin

Japanese scientists at the University of Tokyo have come up with a method to attach living skin tissue to robotic faces and make them “smile,” a breakthrough that has potential applications in cosmetics and medicine. Angela Johnston has more.
