What if you could own a Boston Dynamics-style robot dog for a fraction of the price? The Unitree Go2 is an advanced, agile, and relatively affordable robotic dog designed for research, education, and even practical applications like surveillance, exploration, and assistance.
It’s a $2,000 robotic dog with some pretty nifty tricks up its sleeve. It’s not in the same class as the larger industrial robots like Boston Dynamics’ SPOT. At about 1/50th the price, it doesn’t really need to compete with SPOT either…in fact there are no competitors for a similar device at this price point.
To find out what makes Unitree Go 2 tick, we brought robotics expert Marcel Stieber to help us out!
