A new study published in the International Journal of Mobile Communications has declared “K” the most negatively received text message.
Researchers say the one-letter reply is often seen as passive-aggressive or emotionally distant, worse than being left unread.
The study suggests using “kk” or “okay” to soften your tone and avoid miscommunication.
