Before Holi, common people have got another blow of inflation. New rates of LPG have come into effect from March 1. This time it has directly affected the commercial cylinders. From Delhi to Patna and Mumbai to Chennai, the price of 19 kg cylinder has been increased by about 28 to 31 rupees. The only relief is that there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder. But the expensive commercial gas during the festival season means that eating out and many services may become expensive. This means that the color of inflation has deepened before the colors of Holi.
होली से पहले आम लोगों को महंगाई का एक और झटका लगा है। एक मार्च से एलपीजी के नए रेट लागू हो गए हैं। इस बार सीधे कॉमर्शियल सिलेंडर पर असर पड़ा है। दिल्ली से लेकर पटना और मुंबई से चेन्नई तक 19 किलो वाले सिलेंडर की कीमत में करीब 28 से 31 रुपये तक की बढ़ोतरी कर दी गई है। राहत की बात बस इतनी है कि 14.2 किलो वाले घरेलू सिलेंडर के दाम में कोई बदलाव नहीं हुआ है। लेकिन त्योहार के सीजन में कॉमर्शियल गैस महंगी होने का मतलब है कि बाहर खाना और कई सेवाएं महंगी हो सकती हैं। यानी होली के रंगों से पहले महंगाई का रंग गहरा हो गया है।
