Farmers are eagerly awaiting the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. Under this scheme, the government provides eligible farmers with financial assistance of ₹2,000 every four months, amounting to ₹6,000 annually, directly into their bank accounts. This amount may seem small to farmers, but it provides significant support in meeting farming expenses, seeds, fertilizers, and other minor household needs. Before releasing this installment, the government has initiated a re-verification of beneficiaries, raising concerns among many farmers that their names might be removed from the list. This verification is being conducted to ensure that only eligible farmers receive benefits under the scheme and that ineligible individuals are not able to access them. The government states that this process is necessary to increase transparency. This verification specifically involves examining land records. The documents of farmers who registered their land after February 1, 2019, are being matched with the records, as land ownership is a key eligibility criterion for the scheme. If a farmer’s information does not match the records or their documents are found to be incomplete, their name may be removed from the beneficiary list.
किसान इन दिनों पीएम किसान योजना की 22वीं किस्त का बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहे हैं। इस योजना के तहत सरकार पात्र किसानों को हर चार महीने में 2,000 रुपये की आर्थिक मदद देती है, यानी पूरे साल में कुल 6,000 रुपये सीधे उनके बैंक खाते में भेजे जाते हैं। यह रकम किसानों के लिए छोटी जरूर लग सकती है, लेकिन खेती के खर्च, बीज, खाद और छोटे-मोटे घरेलू जरूरतों को पूरा करने में काफी सहारा देती है। इस बार किस्त जारी होने से पहले सरकार ने लाभार्थियों का दोबारा सत्यापन शुरू किया है, जिससे कई किसानों के मन में चिंता पैदा हो गई है कि कहीं उनका नाम सूची से हट तो नहीं जाएगा। दरअसल यह जांच इसलिए की जा रही है ताकि सिर्फ सही और पात्र किसानों को ही योजना का लाभ मिले और कोई अपात्र व्यक्ति इसका फायदा न उठा सके। सरकार का कहना है कि ट्रांसपेरेंसी यानी पारदर्शिता बढ़ाने के लिए यह प्रक्रिया जरूरी है। इस सत्यापन में खास तौर पर भूमि अभिलेखों की जांच की जा रही है। जिन किसानों ने 1 फरवरी 2019 के बाद जमीन अपने नाम कराई है, उनके दस्तावेजों की जानकारी को रिकॉर्ड से मिलाया जा रहा है, क्योंकि योजना की पात्रता के लिए जमीन का मालिक होना सबसे अहम शर्त है। अगर किसी किसान की दी गई जानकारी रिकॉर्ड से मेल नहीं खाती या दस्तावेज अधूरे पाए जाते हैं, तो उसका नाम लाभार्थी सूची से हटाया जा सकता है।
