स्वाभिमानी शेतकरी संघटनेचे संस्थापक राजू शेट्टी यांनी पत्रकार परिषदेत ऊसदर, एफआरपी आणि कारखानदारांच्या अन्यायावर जोरदार हल्लाबोल केला. यावेळी त्यांनी जोपर्यंत 3600 ते 3700 रुपयांचा दर मिळत नाही, तोपर्यंत ऊस तोडी सुरू होऊ देणार नाही. “प्रशासनाने अडथळा आणू नये, अन्यथा आम्ही स्वतः कारखाने बंद करू,” असा इशाराही त्यांनी दिला.
