The US government’s new tariffs aim to bring manufacturing back home, but experts say the move could triple iPhone prices due to higher labour and infrastructure costs. Apple currently manufactures most iPhones in China and is diversifying into India and Brazil to cut reliance on China. However, rising import tariffs could still raise prices by up to 43%, even without US-based production.
