生命を作るのに重要なタンパク質は、
開始コドンから終始コドンまでのORFに基づいて作られていると思われていました。
ヒトの遺伝子数は2.3万個にも及びますが、昨年新たに1,715個の翻訳産物を生み出すことが明らかに。
ゲノム情報の”裏側”に隠された、未知のタンパク質の世界を探求します。
