चीन में भूकंप से अब तक 46 लोगों की मौत हो गई है जबकि, बड़ी संख्या में लोग घायल हुए हैं. भूकंप से सबसे ज्यादा नुकसान सिचुआन प्रांत (Sichuan Province) में हुआ है. चीन से सिचुआन प्रांत में भूकंप से भारी तबाही हुई है. भूकंप के झटके इतने जोरदार थे कि सबकुछ तहस नहस हो गया. यहां कई इमारतें (Buildings) मलबे में तब्दील हो गई हैं. भूकंप का केंद्र लुडिंग काउंटी बताया जा रहा है.
