An audio clip believed to be that of the husband and father of an 11-year-old girl found murdered with her mother has gone viral.
In the recording, the man can be heard crying as he tells a colleague that he would not be coming to work following the tragic deaths of his wife and daughter.
The clip has sparked an outpouring of sympathy online, with many remembering the woman as a kind and well-loved kuih seller in her community.
Police confirmed that the 51-year-old woman and her daughter were found dead in their rented home. The case is being investigated as murder.
