We recap the last TWO weeks of news in our first episode back from a small break (after the crazy onslaught of GPU and CPU reviews). GN is hosting a meetup and PC repair event, Intel appoints a new CEO, AMD says its GPU demand is “unprecedented,” and Valve is rumored to be opening up SteamOS.
Sign up for the Kramden garage sale event! Separate from the refurb event and separate tickets available here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/gamersnexus-computer-equipment-sale-tickets-1269169342669?aff=oddtdtcreator
Sign up for the meetup and refurbishing event at Kramden in Durham, NC! Please only sign up if you can attend: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/gamersnexus-geek-a-thon-452025-tickets-1268946686699?aff=oddtdtcreator
The event will include a refurbishing session where we troubleshoot computers, fix them, and install Linux or Windows, starting at 9 AM and lasting until 12 PM. You don’t have to stay for all of it. Around 1 PM and until everyone rotates through, Kramden will also be selling a number of our old review items for cheap that we no longer need, with all sales going directly to supporting their tech education and e-waste recycling / refurbishing programs. This includes CPUs, GPUs, cases, coolers, and GN products. We will be filming at the event.
