NASA announced that two additional helium leaks were detected on the spacecraft, in addition to one that was found before the launch but considered acceptable. The news of the leaks came during a NASA broadcast, when the two astronauts were informed that they needed to shut down two valves as they were about to go to sleep.
However, as of Thursday morning, two of the three leaks have been fixed, and the remaining leak does not pose a safety risk as there is helium in reserve.
