Earlier this week, NBC reported that President Donald Trump’s acting secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services, Dr. Dorothy Fink, sent a memo to federal health agencies enacting a moratorium on external communication and public appearances. Additionally, Science reported there was a temporary pause on hiring and travel in these agencies.
