King Charles and Sir David Attenborough laughed together following a standing ovation at the premiere of Ocean with David Attenborough at the Royal Festival Hall, London.
Royal fans believe King Charles was “ahead of his time” when championing the importance of environmental concerns as a young prince. It comes as the King attended the film premiere yesterday evening in central London.
His Majesty, as Prince of Wales, first marked the issue of oil and plastic pollution in the sea in 1970 when he was 21 years old, as stated on the Royal Family’s official Instagram account. A caption under the King pictured at the premiere continues, “Since then, The King has continued to champion the importance of ocean health”.
Sir David Attenborough recently issued a heartfelt statement ahead of his 99th birthday on May 8. In advance of the release of his new film, which will hit cinemas the same day he blows out his candles, the natural history legend says: “We are almost out of time.”
