Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attempted to cool down the heat surrounding the protest against Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Pathaan’. Amid the row over film’s song ‘Besharam Rang’, CM Baghel said that one colour should not be associated with a religion. “Sadhus adopt saffron colour when they sacrifice everything in their life but these ‘bajrangi goons’ who are going around wearing saffron, what have they sacrificed for public? Instead, they’re trying to extort. Colour should not decide one’s religion,” he said.
