Brazil’s former leftist leader Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva defeated incumbent President Jair Bonsonaro in the country’s elections Sunday.
MORE: Lula received more than 60 million votes, only 2 million more than Bolsonaro. Many of Bolsonaro’s supporters are blocking several of the country’s highways to protest the results, as Yan Boechat reports for VOA from Sao Paulo.
