Legal analyst Barbara McQuade joins #MorningJoe to discusses the implications, noting the differing views on presidential power between the majority and dissenting opinions and emphasizing the importance of “voting for candidates with good character”:
“The founding fathers wanted a president who was not a king, who could be checked by other powers. It leaves us only with the power of impeachment for abuse of official acts. I worry that in our highly polarized society, that’s been rendered somewhat meaningless.”
