Amidst the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, a special guest arrived at the Ukrainian city of Laviv. None other than Angelina Jolie. She is a renowned Hollywood actress who has starred in several blockbusters. She is also known for her social work, for which she visited Ukraine. She oversaw prasad distribution by ISKCON Ukraine for the homeless and heaped praises on the prasad after tasting it herself. On being urged by the devotees she took part in hare krishna kirtan. 50 years ago, on being similarly urged by the devotees, George Harrison, too had performed kirtan and sung the biggest song of the time. Today many people have got connected to bhakti and harinaam being inspired by famous personalities taking to Krishna kirtan. We sincerely hope that people get inspired through the example of Angelina Jolie performing kirtan and form a deep loving connection with The Supreme Lord.
